Kenya Police Bullets, the two-time FKF Women’s Premier League champions, have been drawn against Ugandan champions Kampala Queens in the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA qualifiers.
The draw, conducted on Tuesday afternoon at the SuperSport Studio in Nairobi, placed the Kenyan side in Group A alongside Kampala Queens and Eritrea’s debutants Denden SC. Kampala Queens, coached by former Ethiopian women’s national team manager Asefa Firew Hailegebreal, are seen as strong contenders, setting up what promises to be a thrilling clash with the Bullets.
Nyayo Stadium and Ulinzi Sports Complex will host the qualifiers from September 4 to 16, where top women’s teams from the CECAFA region will battle for one ticket to the CAF Women’s Champions League 2025 finals.
Elsewhere, defending champions Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) landed in Group B with Rayon Sports WFC from Rwanda and Burundi’s Top Girls Academy. Former champions JKT Queens of Tanzania headline Group C, joined by South Sudan’s Yei Joint Stars and Zanzibar’s JKU Princess.
