Harambee Stars head coach Benni McCarthy has made three adjustments to his final 25-man squad for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN), scheduled to kick off on Saturday.
Tanzania will host the opening ceremony at the Benjamin Mkapa International Stadium, a celebration of African football which will be preceded by Taifa Stars taking on Burkina Faso.
Shabana’s midfielder Brian Michira, Tusker’s Midfielder Chrispin Erambo, and Sofapaka’s forward Edward Omondi have been drafted in as replacements for Mohammed Bajaber, Swaleh Pamba, and Brian Musa, who will now miss the tournament.
Kenya Police FC midfielder Brian Musa sustained a thigh injury that will seemingly keep him out of the tournament.
On the other hand, Bandari FC defender Pamba Swaleh is set to miss the tournament due to a heart problem.
